How to configure Adsl modem ZTE model ZXV10 W300S

How to login

  1. Enter the default IP Address in Address Bar (' http://192.168.1.1/ ') of your web browser then press 'Enter' and it should prompt you to login.
  2. The default username is admin
  3. The default password is admin ( or check the ISP password default)

How to Configure Modem

  1. Click the Interface Menu;
  2. Under the internet menu;
    1. ATM Virtual Circuit
      • Virtual Circuit: PVC 0
      • Status: Activated
      • ATM VC (VCI/VPI):  0/33
      • ATM QoS: UBR
      • PCR: 0
    2. Encapsulation
      1. Select Static IP Address
        • Encapsulation: 1483 Bridge IP LLC
        • Static IP Address:  <ip address>
        • IP Subnet Mask:  <subnet mask>
        • Gateway:  <ip address>
        • Bridge Interface:  Activated
        • Nat: Enable
        • Default Route:  YES
        • TCP MTU Option:  1500 bytes
        • Dynamic Route:  RIPB-2
        • Direction:  Both
        • Multicast:  IGMPv2  
        • Mac Spoofing:  Disable  
        • Click Save
      2. Select Dynamic
        •  Encapsulation: 1483 Bridge IP LLC
        • Bridge Interface:  Activated
        • Nat: Enable
        • Default Route:  YES
        • TCP MTU Option:  1500 bytes
        • Dynamic Route:  RIPB-2
        • Direction:  Both
        • Multicast:  IGMPv2  
        • Mac Spoofing:  Disable  
        • Click Save
      3. Select PPPoA/PPPoE
        •  Service Name:  BTI
        • Username:  given by ISP
        • Password:  given by ISP
        • Encapsulation:  PPPoE LLC
        • Bridge Interface:  Activated
        • Connection:  Always ON
        • Get IP Address:  Dynamic
        • Nat: Enable
        • Default Route:  YES
        • TCP MTU Option:  1500 bytes
        • Dynamic Route:  RIPB-2
        • Direction:  Both
        • Multicast:  IGMPv2  
        • Mac Spoofing:  Disable  
        • Click Save
      4. Select Bridge
        • Encapsulation:  PPPoE LLC
        • Click Save
  3. Under LAN menu
    1. Router Local IP
      • IP Address:  192.168.1.1 (default) - you can assign any private IP 
      • Subnet Mask:  255.255.255.0
      • Alias IP Address: 
      • Alias Subnet Mask
      • Dynamic Route:  RIP2B
      • Direction:  None
      • Multicast:  ICMPv2
      • IGMP Snoop:  Enabled
    2. DHCP 
      • DHCP:  Enabled
      • Staring IP:  192.168.1.10
      • IP Pool Count: 200
      • Lease Time: 86400
      • DNS Relay:  Use auto discovered DNS Server
      • Click Save
  4. Under Wireless Menu
    1. Access Point Setting
      • Access Point:  Activated
      • Channel:  Auto
      • Beacon Interval:  100
      • RTS/CTS Threshold:  2347
      • Fragmentation Threshold:  2346
      • DTIM:  1
      • Wireless Mode:  802.11b+g+n
      • Station Number:  0~16
    2. 11n Setting
      • Channel bandwidth:  20/40 Mhz
      • Guard Interval:  Auto
      • MCS:  Auto
    3. Multiple SSID Setting
      • SSID Index:  1
      • Broadcast SSID:  YES
      • SSID:  ZTE 300S (default), you can set your own
      • Athentication Type:   WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK
    4. Mode Setting
      • Encryption:  TKIP/AES
      • Preshared Key:   example  123456789 (you can set your own)
    5. MAC Filter Setting
      • Deactivated
    6. ACL Setting
      • ACL:  Deactivated

  4. For Joko, pushed the "reset" button with paper clip or any pointed object at the back of modem for about 30s, the modem should auto reset. Note, your modem will reset to default, save all the config before you do this.
    Try to access again and check the interface.....

    1. Hi, all modem has an enable log feature, i think only the manufacturer have this access to this incase there are problem on firmware, this log will be there bases of troubleshooting.

    i've the same problem as Joko but when i do Reset the modem just restart but all the configuration is the same nothing happens ??

  8. what are valid commands to show WAN IP , LAN IP , subnetmask , Default gateway , ASDL info & etc.....
